Lander Valley High School to Host Student Showcase
Lander Valley High School is excited to announce its second annual Student Showcase, taking
place on Thursday, May 8, from 5–7 PM in the LVHS Commons.
This event invites the community to experience the diverse talents and achievements of LVHS
students across a range of disciplines, including art, culinary arts, woods, metalwork, and English language arts.
Zach Even, LVHS art instructor, shared, “Our teachers are excited to celebrate the incredible
accomplishments of our students with their peers, families, and the wider community. Many of
these projects have been months in the making, and this showcase not only highlights student
creativity and craftsmanship but also fosters cross-curricular pride and collaboration. We hope
this event inspires students to continue striving for excellence and connects our school to the
community.”
Guests can look forward to a display of student work, featuring pottery, stained glass, paintings,
drawings, and digital art. Industrial technology students will exhibit woodworking, metal, and
welding projects completed throughout the year. Culinary students will also delight attendees
with a variety of treats during a reception that promises to be as delicious as it is inspiring. New
this year, English language arts students will share original writing, including poetry and essays.
All community members are invited to attend this evening of creativity, innovation, and
celebration. Visitors will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite student projects. Don’t
miss this chance to support and honor the extraordinary talents of LVHS students!
