Spring is in the air! The 2018 Garden Expo: Backyard and Outdoor Living is set for Saturday, April 14, 9am-3pm, at Lander Valley High School, 350 Baldwin Creek Road. The Garden Expo is geared toward folks who delight in their backyards, can't wait to get in the garden each spring, and enjoy recreating in the great outdoors.
Attendees will enjoy workshops, an awesome trade show, concessions, farmer's market, children's activities and a petting zoo - all FREE!
Workshop schedule:
9:30 am: Growing Grapes in Wyoming or Bird Watching
10:30 am: Managing Weeds Around Backyards and Barnyards or Planting Perennials for Pollinators
11:30 am: Is Your Soil Naked, Hungry, Thirsty and Running a Fever? Keynote speaker: Marlon Winger, NRCS Regional Soil Specialist
1 pm: Caring For Young Trees or Growing Vegetables in Wyoming Tricks of the Trade
2 pm: Marketing Your Farmer's Market Business or Cover Crops In The Vegetable Garden
