The Lander Pioneer Museum & Wyoming Community Bank 2018 Discovery Speaker Series: Diggin' Dubois, Life during the dawn of the dinosaurs, Thursday, July 26, 7 pm, at the Pioneer Museum, 1443 Main St., Lander.
Aaron Kufner from the UW-Madison Geology Museum will give an illustrated talk on recent discoveries in Late Triassic rocks (230 million years ago) near Dubois. Ancient amphibians experience extreme drought and these sites are shedding light on an amazing deep time ecosystem.
