Dance with Don the Danceman - Jitterbug & East Coast Swing

Jitterbug uses a single time step and is done to faster music like Rock Around the Clock, In the Mood, and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. Class will cover the basic steps and left and right turns in one or both of these styles, depending on class time and students’ wishes.

Don Roberts has been teaching dance for over 25 years at colleges, recreation centers, churches, dance schools and studios. Don’s great sense of humor makes the learning of dance relaxing and fun. His experience with all types and ages of people allows him to understand each students’ particular need and arrive at an easy fix that gets you back in step and feeling confident and comfortable with your partner.
