Crowheart Butte Battle Historical Days

Crowheart Butte Battle Historical Days, "Honoring and Preserving the Traditions," will be August 17-19, 33 Old Yellowstone Highway, Crowheart. Aug. 16 is set-up your camp day and set up for vendors.

Dance Competition Categories: 3 places and must be in two out of three Grand Entries to qualify. Decisions are final by the selected judges. All drum groups, dancers and the general public are welcome. Bring your own chairs and join us in dancing and having fun.

Contesting Categories: adult categories ages 18-54, golden ages 55+, teen categories ages 13-17, junior categories ages 6-12, tiny tots ages 2-5.

Grand Entry Times: Friday, Aug. 17, 7 pm; Saturday, Aug. 18, 7pm; Sunday, Aug. 19, 1 pm, Feast noon. Registration closes at 6 p.m. on Saturday. 2011 outgoing Elder representative is Ina Tillman. Men, Teens & Boys: traditional, fancy, grass, tiny tots. Women, teens & girls: traditional, fancy, jingle, tiny tots.

Vendor fees: Food vendors $75, arts & craft vendors $50. Rates include all three days. Please no personal checks. Money orders accepted. All food vendors, arts & crafts vendors must pay the posted vendor fee in full on or before Aug. 17. Vendor fee is non-refundable and rates will not be changed.
