Around Town: Native American Art Show

November 6 - December 19, 2015 @ the Lander Art Center and the Middle Fork Restaurant

Art Opening: November 6, 6 pm. Performance Art Showcase: November 6, 7:30 pm.

For the third year in a row, the Lander Art Center and local Native American artists are teaming up for a unique exhibit showcasing Native American art works. This is the only show of its kind, featuring Native artists in multiple disciplines in locations “Around Town.” This show gives Native artists important visibility in our community. Breaking new ground this year, we are also showcasing performance artists with a live show of spoken word, hip hop, poetry and dance. We will highlight Native American film-makers with a special film screening.

Around Town runs November 6-December 19 at the Lander Art Center and the Middle Fork Restaurant in Lander, WY.

The Lander Art Center is honored to showcase these artists’ work and be a part of a national recognition of the first Americans during Native American Heritage Month.
