Join Sinks Canyon State Park staff and NASA Eclipse Ambassador Sam Hartpence to experience the 2023 Annular Solar Eclipse! This rare eclipse event will take place over 2 hours and 45 minutes, peaking at around 10:30am. Here in Wyoming, we will see 83% coverage!
We will begin a program at 9am as we wait for the sun to rise above the canyon wall, around 10am. The eclipse will peak around 10:30am.
Stop by the Visitor Center from 9:00am-12:00pm, bring a lawn chair and enjoy the view.
Eclipse viewing glasses will be provided to the first 50 spectators.
This event is free and open to all ages.
