About Us
Lander Senior Citizens Center, Inc. exists to serve as an effective and visible advocate for older individuals as well as assist older citizens to remain independent and enjoy a healthier lifestyle and social interaction. Everyone is welcome!
TRANSPORTATION
Rides are provided for seniors and non-seniors within Lander city limits. We currently have two 14-passenger buses, equipped with wheelchair lifts and five 7-passenger vans equipped with ramps. $2.00 contribution each way. Please call early to schedule or cancel.
NUTRITION
Lunch at the center: Monday - Friday from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Home delivered meals: Monday - Friday (call Center to schedule) Seniors (60+) - $5.00 suggested contribution
ACTIVITIES
Weekly activities include exercise, cards and games, needlework and more.
MEDICARE RX PROGRAM ASSISTANCE, APPLICATION ASSISTANCE FOR LIEAP PROGRAMS, CHEYENNE HOUSING RENTAL ASSISTANCE & MEDICAL EQUIPMENT LOAN CLOSET
The Center provides specially trained employees to help seniors apply for/change Medicare RX programs They are also available to help with the application process for the LIEAP programs. Social Security Admin is also online through Skype every Tuesday 9:00-10:30 a.m.
