The Hyde Out was constructed in 2013, and is Atlantic City's premier lodging opportunity. The cozy dwelling offers accommodations for 1 or 2 persons and includes a full kitchen, private bath, two extra-long twin beds and a covered porch overlooking the old mining town and historic Hyde's Hall. The lower level is home to Snowbound Studio, where handmade pottery is created and offered for sale. The Wild Iris climbing area is a short drive away, and we are also close to South Pass City, the Continental Divide Trail, historic mining features and the many recreational areas of the BLM and Shoshone National Forest. Whether you want a quiet retreat for stargazing, or prefer to experience the nightlife of the ''other Atlantic City'', come check out this special little mountain town. Weekly and monthly rates are available, as well as a king sized bed for stays longer than 5 days. In an effort to provide the best indoor air quality in a place where the mountain air is fresh and clean, The Hyde Out is a non-smoking and not-pet property, and only non-toxic cleaning products are used.
Snowbound Studio is a design studio incorporating handmade pottery and building designs by Pam Spencer-Hockett. Pam's first passion is pottery, and she crafts her pieces in the little studio in beneath the guest cabin. A retired architect, Pam continues to help local folks out with building designs and drawings for their residential projects in her office on the premises.
