Our Mission: The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
The Wyoming Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association serves the more than 10,000 Wyomingites living with Alzheimer's and other dementias and their caregivers.
Our Care and Support team hosts community education, caregiver support groups, and early stage programs. Our Public Policy/Advocacy team works to advance our mission for all communities through the pursuit of federal and state policy to provide broad, timely and equitable access to effective treatment, comprehensive education, care, services and support, and research funding to meet the growing needs of all affected.
Our Development team hosts seven Walks to End Alzheimer's and The Longest Day, raising funds to ensure that our local programs and services are available at no cost, and to support research. As the largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research, the Association is committed to accelerating the global progress of new treatments, preventions and, ultimately, a cure.
