POSITION: Athletic Trainer
LOCATION: Lander Valley High School High School
SALARY: $46,275 minimum (based on 2022-23 salary schedule); full benefits
CONTRACT: 185-day contract
START DATE: August 2022

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association and meet any additional Wyoming requirements. Preference given to candidates trained to certify other Fremont 1 coaching staff in PTSB required Care and Prevention courses. Other qualifications include: be available for all scheduled practices, including pre and post; provide training services for all major school events; order supplies with athletic director’s approval; stock and maintain all med kits; maintain all training room equipment; maintain accurate training room records and accident reports; coordinate, train, track and report CPR/1st Aid for district coaching staff; teach/mentor students interested in the sports medicine field.

JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will serve as the athletic trainer for grades 9-12 at Lander Valley High School. This position will also serve as athletic trainer for grades 6-8 on a limited basis.
