SALARY: $46,275 minimum (pro-rated based on 2021-22 salary schedule); full benefits
CONTRACT: Full-time, 185-day contract (pro-rated)

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a certificate issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board with an endorsement as an elementary teacher and be “highly qualified”. Other desired qualifications include: Strong background in early literacy including phonics and phonemic awareness, ability to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of a wide variety of student abilities and needs; ability to implement PBIS concepts and use RTI protocol; strong classroom management skills; willingness to be a team player; ability to teach to the standards as well as benchmarks and ensure student learning; creative; organized; energetic; willingness to serve on school and district committees; high, realistic expectations for students; love of children; good communication skills; and willingness to continue to grow professionally in a PLC atmosphere. Experience with the following programs is beneficial: Into Math and Kagan.

DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will serve as an elementary classroom teacher. The teacher must be willing to teach the district reading, writing and math programs as well as be a committed team member in a PLC and work collaboratively on a daily basis.
