SUMMARY:Wyoming Legislature Joint 2024 Minerals\, Business & Economic Development
DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this meeting is to complete the Committee's interim work. The Committee will consider bill drafts on: (1) limited mining operations\; (2) industrial siting\; (3) the municipal cease-and-transfer program\; (4) mineral and industrial taxation issues\; (5) oil and gas bonding\; (6) the governance of the Integrated Test Center\; and (7) utility issues. The Committee will also receive presentations on enhanced oil recovery and carbon dioxide pipeline infrastructure.\n\n\n\nThe meeting will be held in-person in Cheyenne and remotely with a live video stream available on the Legislature's Website www.wyoleg.gov. A limited number of participants can sign up to provide public comment virtually for a specified agenda item during the Committee's upcoming meeting. The total amount of time dedicated to virtual public comment is set by the Committee Chairmen per Management Council Policy. Please fill out the public comment form to ensure the Committee knows you intend to provide public comment virtually.\n\n\n\nOnly those that fill out the form to provide public comments virtually and who are e-mailed the Zoom invite from the Legislative Service Office will be permitted into the Zoom meeting to testify. The deadline for members of the public requesting to provide live testimony will be 5 p.m. of the day immediately preceding the day on which the topic is noticed to be discussed by the committee.
