DESCRIPTION:New race directors\, new distance\, new year\, same mission. \n\n\n\n\n\nRun the Red is a race for a wild Wyoming Landscape. We hope you will join us in South Pass City to celebrate. \n\n\nOriginally conceived to honor the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act of 1964 and the 30th anniversary of the Wyoming Wilderness Act\, Run the Red has become an annual celebration of Wyoming's Red Desert. \n\nParticipants\n\nRun the Red is capped at 300 participants across all distances.\n\nAge\n\nWe do not have a minimum age requirement. However\, anyone under 18 on race day must have a parent or legal guardian sign their waiver. We've had plenty of under-18-year-olds finish Run the Red!\n\nExperience\n\nRun the Red is open to all experience levels. If you have questions on which distance might be right for you\, we are happy to share our perspective   email us. All are welcome!\n\nEntry Process\n\nEntry will be on a first-come\, first-served basis.\n\nWaitlist\n\nOver the past few years\, the race has sold out. Assuming this trend continues\, we will activate a waitlist through UltraSignup. Runners who "graduate" from the waitlist will be invited via email   you must accept the invitation to enter!
