LOCATION: Lander Valley High School (LVHS)
SALARY: $14.60/hr minimum, 37.5 hours/week minimum; full benefits

DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of a certified teacher, this position assists students with transitional skills and teaching life skills to students. They will work in and around the community with the students. This position is required to implement the student’s IEP. Specific responsibilities include implementing plans for instruction, following therapy care plans, observing and documenting student progress, and assisting students with special health care needs.
● At least 48 semester credits at an institution of higher education; or have an associate’s degree; or pass the District’s basic skills test.
● Experience preferred working with high school students.
● Ability to work effectively with special needs students.
● Ability to follow directions and implement behavior and academic plans.
● Ability to use various computer programs and other technology.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
