The housekeeper positions are highly valued members of our team. We have a lot of people come through the Noble Hotel and really appreciate these people who keep that facility looking presentable.
NOLS Position Announcement
Job Title:  Rocky Mountain Noble Hotel Housekeeper (fulltime, benefitted position)
Reports to:  Rocky Mountain Hotel Manager
Job Objective:  Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable living and working environment for NOLS staff and students.

Qualifications: Must be able to push carts, work from a ladder, lift objects overhead, lift up to 35 lbs. repeatedly, and 50lbs. occasionally. Lifting examples include mop buckets, boxes of cleaning supplies, etc. Experience with the use of cleaning and disinfectant solutions helpful, but not necessary. No materials handling certification required. Minimum age of applicants is 18 years old. We are really looking for someone who is able to work weekends. While this is a full-time position, hours and schedule have some flexibility.

Leadership or Supervisory Duties:  Assist with the training of new housekeepers. Consider and promote new cleaning strategies and products. Assist with inventory management and ordering schedules.

Funds and/or Property:  Responsible for maintaining electric and manual cleaning tools. May manage a small fund to operate coin laundry. Responsible for monitoring linen inventory.

-       Clean dormitory rooms, lobby and restrooms including: vacuuming, dusting, stripping linens, replenishing linens, and removing trash.
-       Sort linens for pick up by laundry service. Supervise pick up and redistribution of commercially-laundered linens. Launder, dry, and put away cleaning rags and mop-heads. Pick up, sort, and store all recycling items. Assist maintenance staff with trips to recycling center, as necessary.
-       Perform special projects and duties, as assigned by the hotel
-       If you are a current and qualified NOLS instructor field work may
be possible.

Compensation starts at $9.40/hour. Benefits include health insurance, vision, dental, paid time off, and tax-sheltered annuities.

Motor Vehicle Record:  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age by the position start date and possess a valid driver’s license. Must have a clean driving history and be able to meet the criteria for NOLS vehicle insurance coverage.
