: This position is split pay: $15.70/hr minimum bus driver, $14.75 minimum mechanic assistant; full-time, 8 hours per day, full benefits

: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A current CDL with school bus/passenger endorsement is required and must be obtained within 60 days of hire date. We are willing to provide training for the right applicant.
Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 20% sitting, 40% walking; and 40% standing. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and some hazardous conditions. The ability to help remove students from the bus in an emergency is required.
: The job of a mechanic assistant/bus driver is done for the purpose/s of transporting students over scheduled routes and/or from special excursions; ensuring vehicle operation is in safe operating condition; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses. This person will be training to become a full time mechanic upon receiving proper training based on district criteria.
