POSITION: Facility Maintenance Manager
LOCATION: Bruce Gresly Aquatic Center
SALARY: $14.50/hr. minimum (260 days per year); full benefits
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday; 7:00 am-11:00 am then 7:00 pm-11:00 pm (8 hour shift)
START DATE: As soon as possible

QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; job-related experience is desired including supervision of employees and budget management; familiarity with HVAC systems and other building systems; computer literate; able to work with minimal supervision; current driver’s
license; and ability to work effectively with administrators, students, teachers, parents, and other
people with whom this position comes in contact.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The job of Facility Maintenance Manager is done for the purpose/s of planning, organizing, and directing the maintenance of pool facilities, grounds, and related equipment; ensuring that jobs are completed efficiently and within regulatory guidelines and projected deadlines; preparing and managing budgets; and ensuring optimal utilization of personnel and other resources. This position monitors, handles, and installs all chemicals for the pool.
REQUIREMENTS: Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; significant fine finger dexterity; be able to work around cleaners and chemicals; and be able to work in the cold.
