Position Description: Administrative Assistant
Reports to: Executive Director
The Lander Community Foundation is a local philanthropic foundation whose mission is to create a
stronger community by promoting philanthropy, encouraging effective giving, and facilitating
volunteerism while providing leadership on nonprofit issues that are important to our community.
We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and
clerical tasks. The administrative assistant's duties include supporting the executive director and board
members as needed, assisting in day-to-day operations, and performing general administrative activities.
This is a part-time position and working time per week will vary. It will be approximately 25 hours per
month. Wage is $20.00 per hour. Candidates must have a computer, phone, and the ability to work
remotely.
Position responsibilities include:
• Organize files in Google Drive
• Create a standard operating procedure (SOP) for organizing digital documents
• Communicate with nonprofits regarding specific events and opportunities
• During particular times of the calendar year, stuff, stamp, and mail correspondence
• Work with the ED and the Bookkeeper to complete all credit card expense reports
• Deliver documents and reports to the bookkeeper
• Collect mail from the post office as needed
• Train with Foundant on basic functions of database
• Update constituent information in the database

Other duties as assigned may include but are not limited to:
• In collaboration with the ED, schedule and send board and committee meeting invitations
• Run reports from the database when requested by the ED or board committee chair
• Respond to the LCF info email address, return phone calls, and messages as needed
• Assist with the production and printing of LCF print materials

Skills needed:
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive
• Willingness to accommodate a flexible work schedule
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality
