“Digging Up Dubois” July 26, 7pm
 
The Pioneer Museum will host Dr. Dave Lovelace PhD. From the University of Wisconson-Madison Geology Museum on July 26 at 7pm.  Dr. Lovelace will talk about two recent discoveries in Late Triassic rocks (~230 million years ago) near Dubois. 
 
Ancient amphibians living in ponds and streams experienced extreme droughts that led to their demise and burial.  These sites are shedding light on this amazing deep-time ecosystem.
 
This program is part of the Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series and is free to the public.
