The purpose of this meeting is to continue the Committee'\;s interim work and finalize bill drafts for sponsorship in the 2026 Budget Session. The Committee will continue working the topic of maternity care and maternity care deserts and will receive information from the Wyoming Department of Health and the Wyoming Primary Care Association. Emergency Medical Services remains a topic for discussion and the Committee will consider legislation to address some concerns. A working group concerning naturopaths will have met and the Committee will receive an update on its progress. Draft legislation will be considered concerning unemployment insurance\, SNAP benefits and hospital bankruptcies. The Wyoming Department of Health will provide an update on the Big Beautiful Bill and rural healthcare funding and the Wyoming Department of Insurance will also address updates in the health insurance space. Lastly\, the Committee will review draft legislation concerning toxicology and death certificates with input from the Coroner'\;s Association.

\nThe meeting will be held in person in Cheyenne and remotely with a live video stream available on the Legislature'\;s Website (www.wyoleg.gov). A limited number of participants can sign up to provide public comment virtually for a specified agenda item during the Committee'\;s upcoming meeting. The total amount of time dedicated to virtual public comment is set by the Committee Chairmen per Management Council Policy. Please fill out the public comment form to ensure the Committee knows you intend to provide public comment virtually. Only those who fill out the form to provide public comments virtually and who are e-mailed the Zoom invite from the Legislative Service Office will be permitted into the Zoom meeting to testify.
