The purpose of this meeting is to continue the Committee'\;s interim work. The Committee will consider bill drafts regarding the Wyoming Department of Family Services'\; confidentiality statutes\, mineral interest ownership and tracing\, theft-related issues\, Senate confirmation for Wyoming Supreme Court Justices\, stalking and grooming offenses\, and the presence of explicit materials in libraries. The Committee will receive updates from the Wyoming Attorney General'\;s Office\, the Wyoming Department of Corrections\, and the Estate Planning\, Elder Law\, Trust and Probate Section of Wyoming State Bar about the Wyoming Probate Code. Additionally\, the Committee will examine how other states are addressing fentanyl-related offenses.

\nThe meeting will be held in person in Casper and remotely with a live video stream available on the Legislature'\;s Website (www.wyoleg.gov). A limited number of participants can sign up to provide public comment virtually for a specified agenda item during the Committee'\;s upcoming meeting. The total amount of time dedicated to virtual public comment is set by the Committee Chairmen per Management Council Policy. Please fill out the public comment form to ensure the Committee knows you intend to provide public comment virtually. Only those who fill out the form to provide public comments virtually and who are e-mailed the Zoom invite from the Legislative Service Office will be permitted into the Zoom meeting to testify.
