SUMMARY:Wyoming Game and Fish Commercial Fishing Advisory Board Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Wyoming Game and Fish Department's Commercial Fishing Boat Advisory Board will have its third meeting at 6 p.m. on Aug. 12. The meeting will be livestreamed virtually.\n\n\n\nWhile no in-person option will be available for this meeting\, it will be live streamed on Zoom. Comments will be taken via Zoom at the end of the meeting. A recording of the meeting and minutes will be available upon request afterwards.\n\n\n\nThe seven-member advisory board will continue to discuss potential recommendations that will be presented to the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission for final review and approval later this year.\n\n\n\nThis board's formation follows the passage of House Bill 5\, which authorizes Game and Fish to create rules to regulate commercially-guided fishing boats in the state. The intent for the board is to provide local perspectives and develop recommendations to enhance fishing conditions\, and address waterway congestion stemming from commercial guide boat activity.\n\n\n\nThe board will meet with the Game and Fish Commission in September to discuss their recommendations. Recommendations will be presented to the Joint Travel\, Recreation\, Wildlife and Cultural Resources Committee by Nov. 1.
