The free fishing day was authorized in 2003 by the Wyoming State Legislature.\n\n \n\nKids Fishing Day in Lander is at Luckey Pond\, 9 am\n\n \n\nFree Fishing Day applies to all waters in Wyoming with the exception that fishing licenses are required in Yellowstone National Park and the Wind River Indian Reservation.
