A typical residential customer using 700 kilowatt-hours per month would see an increase of around $12 per month on their electricity bill.\n\nSeparately\, certain federal tax benefits that have been passed to customers are ending\, meaning rates will be impacted by 4.2% in July when the tax credit will have been fully returned to customers and thus exhausted.\n\nIn total\, Wyoming customers may experience a 16.5% rate increase this year.\n\nRocky Mountain Power will host information sessions to discuss our Wyoming rate proposal and industry financial pressures\, share energy efficiency and cost-saving resources\, and answer questions directly from our customers.
