DESCRIPTION:The Challenge for Charities Half Marathon\, 5K and Kids' 1 mile Mad Dash will be held on July 4\, beginning at 6 a.m.\, with the Half Marathon concluding at 9:30 a.m.  The events all start and finish at Centennial Park\, 209 Main Street Lander\, WY.  These races are sponsored by the Lander Community Foundation.\n\nThe half marathon follows a beautiful loop outside of town with gorgeous views of the Wind River Mountains. The race takes place on a quiet\, paved road and it will be an event you will remember! About 1\,000 people take part in the event and about 150 run the half marathon.
