DESCRIPTION:The 18th annual IPSSSDR will begin on Jan. 31\, 9 am\, in Jackson Hole\, with a chance to meet the teams. Festivities on Town Square begin at 5 pm. Mushers leave the starting gate at 6:30 pm. The Pedigree Party at Snow King\, fireworks and torchlight parade starts at 8 pm.\n\n\n\nThe race schedule:\n\nSat.\, Feb. 1 Alpine\, 9 am race start\, parking lot behind Bank of Alpine\n\nSun.\, Feb. 2 West Yellowstone\, MT\, 9 am\, corner of Yellowstone and Canyon streets\n\nMon.\, Feb. 3 off day\n\nTues.\, Feb. 4 LANDER\, 9 am race start\, Louis Lake Trailhead\n\nWed.\, Feb. 5 Pinedale\, 9 am race\, Upper Green River\, Cora\n\nThurs.\, Feb. 6 Big Piney/Marbleton\, 9 am\, Middle Piney parking lot\n\nFri.\, Feb. 7 Kemmerer\, 9 am\, Viva Naughton\n\nFri.\, Feb. 7 Mountain View\, 5-7 pm\, Musher Mania\, Mountain View Town Hall. Dinner will be provided at no cost. Toboggan race\, Relay for Life registration\n\nSat.\, Feb. 8 Lyman\, 7-9 am\, Flapjack Frenzy at Heritage Barn\, pancake breakfast at no charge\n\nSat.\, Feb. 8 Bridger Valley to Evanston\, 10 am race start at Deadhorse Trailhead\, south of Mountain View (follow signs) finishing at North Slope Road\; 30 miles south of Evanston on the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway\, Hwy 150. Uinta Co.\, WY\, course goes into Utah. Race course is approximately 45 miles\n\nSat.\, Feb. 8\, North Slope Road Trailhead\, 30 miles south of Evanston. 2 pm Junior Musher Race\, ending at approximately 3 pm\n\nSat.\, Feb. 8 Evanston\, 6 pm closing banquet hosted by IPSSSDR\, doors open at 6 pm\, dinner at 7 pm\, The Machine Shop\, Evanston. Open to the public\, tickets are $17 adult\, $10 child.
