SUMMARY:Gold Rush Days 2014 at South Pass City
DESCRIPTION:2014 Annual Gold Rush Days\, July 12th& 13th at South Pass City\, Wyoming.\n\nEach summer South Pass City State Historic Site hosts Gold Rush Days.  This fun event celebrates life in a western gold camp.  Gold Rush Days features a vintage baseball tournament played with turn-of-the-century uniforms\, gold panning\, stamp mill demonstrations\, and printing press demonstrations.  Live music in the saloons\, billiards\, anvil blasting & reenactments are just a few of the events that keep visitors entertained during the celebration.  Come and see if Riverton\, Hudson or South Pass City's old time baseball teams can beat Lander's team this year.  Games start on Saturday at 9 a.m. and the championship game will be Sunday afternoon.  Grandma and Grandpa Catering will be setup to serve food both days from 9:00 to 6:00 on Saturday and 9:00 to 5:00 on Sunday.  Reenactments of the Pony Express will happen both days and the Carissa Mine and Mill will be open to the public from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. both days with demonstrations of the rock crusher\, shaker table operating and more gold mining equipment.  The price is great at just $3 a person for 7 year old and above each day.
