DESCRIPTION:EF High School Exchange Year is currently accepting applications for volunteer host families in the Lander area. As a host family\, you choose your students from a list of profiles based on your families interests and activities and the student lives in your home as a participating family member. They are like a son or daughter to you\, they help with household chores\, attend school and share their culture with you while learning about your culture. You provide your students with meals\, a bed and a nurturing environment. Students receive a monthly allowance from their natural parents to pay for their own toiletries\, personal needs\, activities\, school supplies\, clothing and entertainment. The program is very rewarding and offers an amazing experience to learn about another culture\, bring cultural awareness into your community and schools and to create lifelong friendship with a student and their family. It also offers a wonderful learning experience!
