DESCRIPTION:Popo Agie Weed Management Area (PAWMA) invites you to an Ecological Restoration Day\, Sinks Canyon\, Lander\, WY.\n\n \n\nTuesday\, June 25\, 2013\n\n8:00 am to 1:00 pm\n\nLunch will be provided\n\nMeet at the Staging/Parking area at the Forest Service and Sinks Canyon State Park boundary on Sinks Canyon Road.\n\n \n\nRSVP to Popo Agie Conservation District 332-3114 or Fremont County Weed & Pest 332-1052 by Friday\, June 21\, 2013.\n\n \n\nThe event will begin with a short presentation on the importance of the management and control of invasive weed species.  Weed identification and spraying methods will be demonstrated.  Volunteer weed spotters and sprayers will then concentrate on the burned areas at the boundary between Sinks Canyon State Park and the Shoshone National Forest.\n\n \n\nVolunteers need to wear old clothes\, long pants\, long sleeves\, closed footwear\, gloves\, glasses/sunglasses.  Backpack sprayers will be provided.\n\nObservers are welcome.
