Join\n\nofficers for a complimentary hot or iced coffee or even a hyperfreeze.\n\n\n\nCoffee with a Cop is a relaxed\, informal way to meet officers\, ask questions\, and share what's\n\non your mind. There's no agenda or presentations just conversations that help build stronger\n\nconnections between the police and the people they serve.\n\n\n\n"Events like this give us the chance to step out from behind the badge and connect with folks\n\none-on-one\," said Interim Police Chief Kelly Waugh. "We want people to feel comfortable talking\n\nto us\, whether it's about neighborhood concerns\, ideas for the community\, or just to say hello."\n\n\n\nThe Lander Police Department extends its thanks to Loaf 'n Jug for hosting this first Coffee with\n\na Cop. The department looks forward to building on this effort and partnering with more local\n\nbusinesses to bring similar events to the community in the future.
