DESCRIPTION:Experience South Pass City State Historic Site in a different light during the 'Catch the Night Shift: Lantern Tour and Scotch Tasting\,' June 24\, at 6:30 p.m.\n\nTickets are $50 per person and proceeds help with programs and restoration at South Pass City. Call 307-332-3684 for tickets.\n\n            Historically the mill would run 24-hours-a-day in three shifts.  SPC Staff and the Friends of South Pass are excited to showcase a rarely seen side of South Pass City\, what the site looked like at night. \n\nSo\, Catch the Night Shift\, a lantern tour of the town and tour of the mill\, was developed. \n\nA natural partner for this event was the Two Bit Saloon at the Miner?s Delight Bed and Breakfast Inn. \n\nBob and Barbara Townsend have built a unique business around rare and wonderful single malt scotches. The Two Bit Saloon has garnered a national recognition and the Townsend?s were very generous to share that reputation and experience with SPC\, pouring scotch for Catch the Night Shift.\n\nThe Townsend's are retiring and this will be your last chance to sip scotch in the Miners' Exchange Saloon. \n\nTickets are $50 and include the scotch tasting\, hors d'oeuvres and tour of the Carissa. \n\nCall 307-332-3684 for tickets.
