She will be selling pottery at the Art Walk.\n\n \n\nThe children's coloring contest will be hosted by St. Andrew's Episcopal Church at its fellowship hall. The church celebrated the 100 year anniversary of its consecration this year.\n\n \n\nAgain this year\, there will be a poker crawl (pick up cards at seven local businesses) for a 50/50 drawing. There will be space for anyone who wants to bring a table and sell their wares. Participants in the poker crawl can pick up the instructions at the Miners' Grubstake\, which will be serving smoked barbecued tri-tip and ribs near the tepee. The Grubstake will also have live bluegrass music with Kerry Wallace and her band.\n\n \n\nThe Atlantic City Mercantile will be serving pulled pork sandwiches and drink specials.\n\n \n\nAt the Miner's Delight Inn Bed and Breakfast\, several authors will answer questions and sign copies of their books: Marjane Ambler's book (Yellowstone Has Teeth: a memoir of living year round in the world's first national park) was released by Riverbend Publishing in June 2013. Jon Lane and Susan Layman's South Pass City and the Sweetwater Mines (a historic Arcadia photo book) was released in Spring 2012. Sandy and Doug Lowinske of Country Woodworking will show their custom aspen wood furnishings and d cor. Barbara Townsend will have a preview copy of her historic novel\, Blood Atonement\, which will be released on August 22\, 2013.\n\n \n\nThe Atlantic City Historical Society's table will have free brochures for self-guided tours of the town. Four weeks later\, on August 31\, the organization will celebrate its 30th anniversary featuring a tour of the Carissa mill and a Dutch-oven lunch.\n\n \n\nThere will be live music at the Atlantic City Battalion 9 Fire Hall during the day\, followed by the Strumlords\, a local Atlantic City band\, at 3:30 p.m. \n\n \n\nAcross the street at Wild Bill's Guns\, handmade knives are for sale as well as hunting and fishing licenses and ATV permits.\n\nStarting in 2007\, Atlantic City businesses have welcomed hundreds of visitors to the Open House and Art Walk each summer.
