SUMMARY:6th annual Butterfly Blitz
DESCRIPTION:Everyone is invited to participate in The Nature Conservancy's 6th annual Butterfly Blitz on Saturday\, June 22. We will meet at 9 a.m. at Red Canyon Ranch.\n\n\n\nRanges for many North American butterfly species are shifting and changing. You can help monitor Wyoming's butterfly populations during The Nature Conservancy's annual count. A fee of $3 per participant will help the North American Butterfly Association maintain long-term national butterfly data.\n\n\n\nWe will break into groups in the morning and eat our sack lunches afterwards. At 1 p.m.\, meet at Bruce's parking lot in Sinks Canyon. We will spend the afternoon surveying along the Popo Agie River and will finish up by 4 p.m. Bring a lunch\, water\, hat\, sunscreen and butterfly nets and field guides if you have them.
